Introduction
TIM is a Java-based application that runs (at the moment exclusively) in JBoss and requires a database as storage medium.
On request, the installation package from TIM will be sent (support@tim-solutions.de)
This documentation will focus only on an installation in Windows. This documentation may also be adapted and used for a Linux-based operating system if there is enough necessary expertise at hand.

Content of the Installation Package
The installation package is distributed in ZIP-format and therefore has to be unzipped. The folders and files depicted on this picture are momentarily combined in one single ZIP-file.
FirefoxPortable
This is a portable Firefox browser, which is intended to be used to check for compatibility issues and to test the functions of Javascript more efficiently.
JBoss
This is the specific JBoss that has been set up to run TIM. Alternatively, if available, an already existing server may be used for this purpose.
MySQL
This is a freely available database system. Please refer to this page to get more detailed information on the specific version being supported at the moment.
OOP
An Openoffice Headless Server (without the user interface!), which is necessary in order to convert Word-files into PDFs.
Java-JDK
The most up-to-date available Java version. This is required to run the Java-based JBoss server.
NPP (Notepad++)
This is a very comprehensive text editor, which adds a necessary entry to the context menu of MS Windows.

This presupposes a running MySQL server.

6. Installation of the Dashboard
The Dashboard can be used by a process manager to conduct analyses of crucial data.
