General Information
Since T!M - Task !n Motion is based on Java, the software can be operated almost on any system which is Java-based. The following list provides an overview of examples:
- Windows Server 2008
- Windows Server 2012
- All Unix Systems (Debian, Ubuntu, SuSE, …)
- Mac OSX
- and so on…
Of course, all these systems can be used as virtual hosts.
Software requirements
Server:
- Java JDK version 7 (go to the installation instructions)
- data base (e.g., MySQL version 5.1.x, Oracle 11, MS-SQL 2012) (go to the installation instructions)
- JBoss 5.1.0 GA, EAP 6.0.1, AS 7 (go to the installation instructions)
JBoss EAP 6.2 has to be used since version 4.1
Client:
- Any browser can be used as a client without having to meet any specific requirements, e.g. Java JRE or Adobe Flash Player
- Internet/Intranet-capable client
- Mozilla Firefox from version 2.0.0.20
- Google Chrome from version 39.0
- Microsoft Internet Explorer from version 9
Hardware requirements
Since T!M - Task !n Motion is actually using scales between the logged in user and the size of processes the following table is meant to provide only a rough guideline. The system can be adapted very easily and according to requirements.
The following table is based on experience and can differ greatly depending on customer requirements
